Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and dedicated English Teacher to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of teaching experience, a deep understanding of the British curriculum, and a strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
• The successful candidate will be passionate about English language and literature and skilled in using technology to enhance learning.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the British curriculum.
• Teach English language and literature to students at various levels, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the subject.
• Develop and utilize creative and effective PowerPoint presentations to support lesson delivery.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing regular feedback and support to help them achieve their best.
• Incorporate digital tools and resources to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school events.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, preferably within the British curriculum.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
• Excellent computer skills and the ability to integrate technology into teaching.
• A degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 / month.
