Job Description
- As the demand for our services has grown, we are looking to hire an Academic Affairs Officer to support our expanding enrollment of students.
- This role will support the Academic Directorate in planning and delivering learning programs for our students, hiring and supporting academic staff, as well as other functions associated with the academic directorate.
- This position is open in Umuahia, Abia State. Applicants MUST be willing to relocate to Umuahia, Abia State.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have most, if not all of the following:
- First-hand experience teaching in a primary, secondary or tertiary institution.
- Experience hiring, managing and developing tutorial staff in an academic institution.
- Ability to manage and oversee the recordkeeping function in an academic registry.
- Ability to interface with students and parents to ensure that their needs are met in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to support a geographically disperse (virtual) spread of students and instructors would be a significant advantage.
- Prior (or current) experience as a teacher, instructor, or practice supervisor/manager would be advantageous.
- Prior experience teaching or learning using an online platform. (This would be highly advantageous.).
