Job Description:
NU Farms seeks a highly qualified, experienced, mature and responsible person with the following responsibilities:
- Planning, implementation and operation of livestock, crop and grain farming, production and processing
- Marketing, packaging and branding
- Establishing modern farming practices
- Effective budget setting, management and cost monitoring.
- Effective stock management, plant operation and maintenance
- Staff management, leadership, mentoring and development.
- Leadership, innovation and diversification
- Practical and hands-on activities, e.g. driving tractors, operating machinery, feeding livestock, spraying fields, and so on;
Remuneration and Compensation
Compensation is based on qualification, experience, leadership and innovative capacity; and commensurate with industry practices.
