We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Manager (IT Solutions)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about IT salespossess a strong understanding of financial products and services, and demonstrate a proven track record of success in sales and business development within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn about all our product offerings to be able to articulate / present the value they provide to Customers across the product lifecycle and user value streams.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, alliances, and strategic collaborations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, technology partners, and industry influencers.
  • Lead the sales process from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer success, to ensure alignment and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, pipeline management, and market insights to senior management.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or other related STEM fields. Having MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales within the FinTech industry, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • At least 10 years and above proven sales experience in a B2B client-facing role, marketing and distribution roles.
  • Possess a strong sales acumen (cold calling, sales meetings, price and terms negotiations, relationship management, problem management, account management, account growth etc.)
  • Strong understanding of financial products, services, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed targets and deliver exceptional results.
  • Ability to secure clear direction and buy-in from business leadership and then maintain visibility as strategy is executed
  • Ability to take high-level vision and translate down to executable actions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent Product Knowledge with strong understanding of local and global Fintech landscape
  • Knowledge and understanding of the B2B sales cycle
  • Strong Network of C-Level executives key industries like FSI, FMCG, Oil and Gas, and Public Sector
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of emerging digital technologies with respect to Web, Mobile, social media, Analytics, Cloud, AI/ML, Blockchain, Microservices, API etc.
  • Strong sense of organisation and attention to detail are required
  • Strong verbal and written skills are required
  • Strong analytical and logical skills
