Job Summary

• The Deposit Mobilization Officer is responsible for executing strategies to attract and grow the bank’s deposit base.
• This role involves engaging with potential and existing clients, promoting deposit products, and ensuring the achievement of monthly deposit targets through effective marketing and relationship management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in deposit mobilization within the banking industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to meet and exceed targets in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Job Competency Requirements:

• Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed monthly deposit targets set by management.
• Identify and engage potential depositors, including individuals, small businesses, and corporate clients.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional materials and campaigns aimed at deposit mobilization.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities for deposit growth and present findings to management.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to refine deposit mobilization strategies.
• Prepare regular reports on deposit mobilization efforts, client feedback, and market insights.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to deposit mobilization.
