HR-EX Consulting - Our client, a fast-growing Commercial Law firm, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Associate

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate contracts.
• Advise on business structuring, mergers, and acquisitions as well as due diligence.
• Advise on the wide spectrum of commercial law activities including competition, intellectual property, company formation, MSME support, local market entry, etc.
• Demonstrate good knowledge of the Nigerian Capital Market and apply this knowledge by generating beneficial ideas for clients and thinking strategically about the capital needs of clients.
• Build and manage client relationships on a day-to-day basis.
• Deliver presentations and advice to clients.
• Represent the firm in different professional fora.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to juggle conflicting priorities.
• Excellent written communication and drafting skills.

Key Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
• Possession of a postgraduate qualification (i.e., LLM) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 8 years post-call with cognate experience in the described areas of practice.
