Job Description

• The operations analyst is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational processes related to managing financial assets.
• Key duties include trade settlements, managing portfolio reconciliations, risk management, regulatory compliance and collaborating with various teams for operational efficiency.
• In addition, the officer will be required to develop operational processes and policies to support the business, address discrepancies in operational data and communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate processing of investment trades and redemption payment
• Identifying inflows into bank accounts and collation of identified inflows for subscription advise  
• Collating redemption requests and advising the portfolio management team accordingly
• Cancelling and creating units/investments on the asset management software
• Preparing daily valuation for all portfolios 
• Managing the reconciliation of portfolios to ensure completeness, accuracy and identifying discrepancies or errors and resolving them promptly
• Monitoring and managing portfolio cash positions
• Staying informed about corporate actions affecting investments and coordinating necessary adjustments to portfolios
• Collaborating with Finance in the preparation of income and statutory reports
• Collaborating with client services teams to address inquiries and provide accurate information regarding portfolio positions, transactions and preparing confirmation of investments
• Fostering effective communication channels within the operations team and collaborating with other departments including Business Technology to resolve operational and technical issues
• Continuously identifying opportunities for process improvement, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk and overseeing the integration and optimization of technology solutions
• Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of operational procedures and processes to ensure transparency and compliance
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards in all asset management operations
• Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
