Job Description
- The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
- This role will involve leading the sales team, identifying new market opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership within the fintech or financial services sector and a passion for driving business growth.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s business goals. Drive the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture. Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and support team development.
- Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed revenue targets through effective sales planning and execution. Identify new business opportunities and expand market share.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Adjust sales strategies accordingly to stay ahead in the market.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to the executive team. Use insights to refine sales strategies and improve outcomes.
- Budget Management: Manage the sales budget, including forecasting, expense tracking, and ROI analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in fintech, financial services, or a similar industry.
- 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, managing teams and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of fintech products, market trends, and customer needs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strategic and results-driven mindset.
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.
