The Posh Oak Academy is a new Pre-schoolstrategically located opposite African First Ladies Peace mission building at Abogo Largerma Street off constitution Avenue Central Business District Abuja. We are commited to raising well-rounded children who will consistently evolve until they become the best versions of themselves. Our rich curriculum is a perfect blend of the existing British, Montessori, American and Nigerian curricula

We are starting off with two classes: Mustard class for 2-3 years olds & The Palms class for 3-4 year olds. Our staff are properly trained to cater to your kids education needs as well as other needs. Our staff are properly trained to cater to your kids education needs as well as other needs. Our preschool is equipped with kidsize accessories (e.g. Sinks, WCs, baths etc) to give the kids independence while developing their hygiene skills as well as other skills that will set the tone for the rest of their lives.

Job Summary

• Responsible for providing high-quality care, supervision, and support to children in a private home setting.
• This involves in attending to the daily needs of the children, planning and organizing activities, assisting with homework, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care to children, ensuring their safety, health, and well-being at all times.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, and diapering (if applicable).
• Maintain daily routines for meals, naps, playtime, and bedtime, fostering structure and consistency.
• Keep children’s areas tidy and organized, including bedrooms, play areas, and the kitchen after meals.
• Assist with homework, reading, and educational activities to support the child’s learning and development.
• Monitor children’s health, reporting any concerns through the appropriate channels
• Provide daily updates on the children’s activities, behavior, meals, and any notable events.
• Address any behavioral or developmental concerns and work collaboratively with parents to implement strategies.
• Respect family privacy and maintain confidentiality regarding personal and family matters.
