We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Legal Counsel
Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in civil and commercial litigation matters, including trials, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Conduct legal research, analyze case law and statutes, and provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients.
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
- Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolution solutions when appropriate.
- Support staff to ensure effective case management and client representation.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files, documents, and correspondence.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 to 8 years Practice Experience.
- Efficient Drafting and Advocacy Skills.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Compliant.
- Quality Research Skills, Familiarity with the Use. & Navigation of e-Library and Legal Software.
- Due Diligence, Discipline, and Good Work Attitude.
- Litigation Savvy and Ability to Perform tasks Under Minimal Supervision.
