Job Description
- The Treasury Manager is responsible for leading the Treasury team in the management of Renmoney’s liquidity position, to achieve optimal profitability while minimizing risk exposure.
- You will provide timely and relevant Balance Sheet information to facilitate strategic decision making.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and measure liquidity and funding requirements and ensure compliance with company standards
- Monitor and measure interest rate risk and advise strategies to manage it
- Monitor Balance Sheet triggers and regulatory ratios
- Diversify funding sources
- Participate and lead wholesale funding deals
- Initiate funds transfer and Bank placements
- Manage banking relationships and Bureau de change dealings
- Assist in the preparation of ALCO reports
- Conduct a periodic rate survey and market intelligence to aid cost of funds management.
Requirements
- First Degree or equivalent in any field
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Treasury or Finance role in banks
- ACA (ICAN), CIMA or ACCA qualification / Student membership
- Possess strong data analysis, Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Have sound knowledge & understanding of the Nigerian economy and financial markets
- Possess strong analytical skills and interpretation capabilities
- Demonstrate solid ability to mine data to produce actionable insights.
