Job Title: Truck Driver
Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
Transport Goods:
- Safely drive trucks to deliver goods to customers, warehouses, or other destinations.
Loading & Unloading:
- Assist with loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring that all items are properly secured.
Route Planning:
- Plan routes to ensure timely delivery, avoid traffic, and optimize fuel efficiency.
Inspect & Maintain Vehicle:
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, checking for mechanical issues and reporting any problems. Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained.
Comply with Safety Standards:
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies regarding vehicle operation.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel use, and any incidents or delays. Complete all required paperwork such as delivery notes, shipping papers, and logbooks.
Communication:
- Stay in regular contact with dispatch to provide updates on delivery progress or report any issues.
Customer Service:
- Represent the company professionally during interactions with customers and clients, ensuring goods are delivered in a satisfactory condition.
Salary
N50,000 - N65,000 monthly.
