Job Title: Research Analyst

Location: Nigeria

Description 

  • Our client is looking for a talented and culturally aware Research Analyst to join her Research & Insights team.
  • You’ll play a key role in providing data-driven insights to support the businesses, with a focus on the African, Black, and African American communities across the US, UK, and Canada.
  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about market research, consumer behavior, and trend identification, and will help shape the direction of our sister companies, including ExcelMindCyber, Credit Veto, Lightforth, and VeriPass.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research focused on African and Black communities, analyzing consumer behavior, trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Gather and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to provide actionable insights.
  • Research industry trends in education, cybersecurity, financial literacy, career development, and immigration to support business strategies across different companies.
  • Deliver clear, concise reports and presentations with data visualizations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date on global trends that impact the target communities and their engagement with education, finance, and career development tools.
  • Monitor competitors and industry leaders to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align research findings with business goals.

Key Research Areas:

  • Career transition and skill development in cybersecurity (ExcelMindCyber)
  • Credit repair challenges and financial literacy (Credit Veto)
  • Job preparation and AI-powered learning tools (Lightforth)
  • O-1 visa application trends for African professionals (VeriPass)

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in market research, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of African, Black, and African American communities and their cultural, educational, and financial dynamics in the US, UK, and Canada.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear, actionable way.
  • Familiarity with research tools like Statista, Pew Research, Google Trends, and competitor analysis platforms.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn data into compelling insights.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment
