Job Description

  • We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage the inventory and stockroom operations at Fashion House Name. As a key part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the store’s inventory is properly stored, tracked, and maintained. The ideal candidate will be proactive in monitoring stock levels, organizing the storage area, and supporting the production and sales teams by ensuring materials and products are available when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store materials and finished products in the stockroom.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including entering stock movements into the inventory management system.
  • Organize and maintain the store area to ensure products and materials are stored in an orderly and accessible manner.
  • Perform regular inventory checks and stock audits to ensure the accuracy of stock levels.
  • Monitor stock levels and notify management of any shortages or overstock situations.
  • Issue materials to production teams as required and track consumption.
  • Assist with order picking and packing for product shipments.
  • Ensure proper labeling and tagging of products for easy identification.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of materials and products.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and security guidelines for the store area.
  • Support other departments, such as production and sales, by providing up-to-date information on stock availability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar inventory management role, preferably within the fashion or retail industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials when needed.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Basic understanding of garment types and fashion products is an advantage.

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in inventory control or warehouse management is preferred.
  • 1 - 2 years work experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail in managing stock records and movements.
  • Reliability and punctuality in meeting store operations deadlines.
