Job Title: Assistant Baker
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of various baked goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and production standards.
- Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters.
- Ensure proper proofing, baking, and finishing of baked items.
- Monitor baking process, adjusting oven temperatures and timings when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including utensils and baking tools.
- Help in managing inventory, ensuring ingredients are fresh and available.
- Assist in packaging, labeling, and storing baked goods.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide support in fulfilling customer orders and special requests.
- Collaborate with the Head Baker and other team members to ensure smooth bakery operations.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with 2 - 4 years experience.
Salary
N40,000 - N50,000 monthly.
