Job Title: Inventory / Storekeeper and Procurement Officer
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Inventory/Storekeeping:
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all restaurant supplies and ingredients.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Organize and manage storage areas for optimal space utilization and easy access.
- Monitor stock levels and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of all items to maintain freshness and quality.
Procurement:
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and quality for ingredients and supplies.
- Place orders and manage the timely delivery of goods to meet the restaurant’s needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
- Keep accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an inventory/storekeeper and/or procurement officer, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of food safety and storage regulations is a plus.
Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 / month.
