Job Title: Team Member, Group Product and Underwriting

Job Overview

• The purpose of the role is to sustain a market leading position in the health insurance market segment within Nigeria through effective and efficient oversight of Underwriting, product and pricing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with underwriting, risk profiling and profitability assessment of Group products for both new and renewal businesses, including local and international products.
• Ensure implementation of approved pricing and renewal decisions for the Underwriting Period.
• Support Portfolio performance monitoring and implementation of corrective actions with the support of the sales team.
• Any other responsibilities that might be required by the Team lead and Head, Health Underwriting, product and pricing from time to time.
• Liaise with Risk, Actuarial & Legal in case considerations as applicable.

Role Qualfication

• B.Sc from a reputable tertiary institution.

Work Experience:

• 1 - 3 Years total work experience.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Technical knowledge of health underwriting or health operations
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong Leadership traits.
• Good interpersonal relationship and communication skills.
