Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Maitama, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment.
• The successful candidate will work on a range of projects, from concept to completion, ensuring innovative solutions and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and mechanical equipment
• Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and civil engineers
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering
• Professional certification (COREN, NSE) preferred
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Desirable Qualities:

• Experience with international engineering standards (e.g., ASME, API)
• Familiarity with Nigerian engineering regulations and standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 per month.
