Job Title: SME Loan Officer

Location: Akoka, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for mobilizing customers for SME loans, managing a portfolio of loans, providing excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Marketing of the bank’s product and services to clients
  • Evaluate and process loan applications from clients
  • Conduct credit assessments and risk analyses
  • Manage a portfolio of SME loans, ensuring timely repayments and minimizing defaults
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients
  • Meet sales targets and contribute to team goals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a minimum of HND / Bachelor's Degrees in Business, Marketing, or related fields
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in SME lending or related field
  • Strong understanding of credit principles and risk management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
