Job Title: Program Officer (Education)

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Program Officer for Education will ensure funding aligns with the organization’s education initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support education programs, including access to quality education, teacher training, and infrastructure developmentand reflect these in donor proposals.
• Design and implement education projects, integrating donor priorities into project designs and strategies.
• Develop relationships with donors, government agencies, and educational institutions, ensuring programs are well-resourced to achieve their objectives.
• Engage in advocacy and partnership-building efforts to advance AYGF’s education agenda.

Requirements and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Development, or a related field.
• At least 4 years experience in resource mobilization and program management in the education sector.
• Proven Experience in Multi-Donor Management.
• Strong Analytical and Research Skills.
• Proficiency in Donor Management Systems and Tools.
