Job Title: Head of Labour

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

  • As our Head of Labor, you'll be responsible for managing and coordinating all labor-related activities on construction projects.
  • This includes overseeing the recruitment, deployment, supervision, and management of the construction workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of all on-site labor personnel, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor labor performance and address any issues or challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement labor allocation plans based on project requirements and availability.
  • Schedule labor resources effectively to meet project deadlines and minimize idle time.
  • Manage labor turnover and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures on the construction site.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor and safety regulations.
  • Resolve disputes and conflicts among labor personnel in a fair and equitable manner.
  • Mediate between labor and management to address any grievances or concerns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2years of experience in construction labor management.
  • Strong knowledge of labor relations, employment laws, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Experience with workforce planning and analysis.
  • Knowledge of construction industry best practices.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
