Job Summary

• As our Accountant, you'll be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects.
• This includes financial reporting, budgeting, invoicing, tax compliance, and cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Provide financial reports to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying variances.
• Prepare and monitor financial forecasts.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction measures.
• Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner.
• Track and manage accounts receivable and payable.
• Ensure timely payment of bills and invoices.
• Prepare and file corporate tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Advise on tax planning and strategies.
• Analyze project costs to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
• Track and report on project profitability.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects or initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 2years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification.
• Experience in construction project accounting.
• Knowledge of construction industry accounting standards.
• Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting.

   

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
