Royal Residences Lagos is owned by Design Union Limited and it is a boutique hotel with a fine dining restaurant called Gabriel's restaurant.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Restaurant Cashier

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Restaurant Cashier is responsible for handling all financial transactions within the Restaurant, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions within the Restaurant.

Responsibilities 

  • Accurately keeping all Restaurant’s financial transactions
  • Handling of all POS, and bank transfer transactions within the Restaurant.
  • Performs on a daily basis, the reconciliation of Cash, Credit cards and bank payments to identify any discrepancies.
  • Ensures that all customers’ financial-related complaints or issues are promptly resolved
  • Ensuring that all Restaurant’s (Kitchen’s & Bar) operations are well docketed and backed up with payment.
  • Issuing receipts, refunds, credits, or changes due to all Restaurant customers.
  • Performs the reconciliation of all Restaurant’s End of shifts and End of the day reports operational reports.
  • Ensuring that prices quoted for all Restaurant services are correct.
  • Collaborate with other Restaurant staff to provide excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Following all hotel policies and procedures as related to finance.
  • He shall report directly to Hotel Accounts Executive.
  • Any other responsibility as may be assigned by the Hotel Accounts Executive.

Requirements

  • OND Holder in Social Sciences or Management.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Hotel Accounting operations.
  • Proficiency in the use of Enterprise-wide Accounting Application such as SAGE or SAP, HotelPlus, Ms. Office. packages and Power Point Presentation.
