Job Title: Head of Human Capital Development and Talent Management

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are urgently looking to hire a Head of Human Capital Development and Talent Management to shape and nurture the organization's workforce and overall organizational effectiveness. This encompasses the strategic and operational aspects of talent management and development.
  • The focus is on talent management, performance management, and career development

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive talent management strategy aligned with the organization’s
  • strategic goals and objectives while supporting improved organizational structures, culture, and
  • processes
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and integrate their feedback into talent and development strategies
  • Design and implement succession planning processes to ensure a pipeline
  • Implement programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Create career development plans and paths to support employee growth and retention while overseeing the design and delivery of training programs to address skill gaps and support career progression
  • Ensure that organizational culture and values are embedded in all talent management practices
  • Track and analyze key metrics related to talent management, measure effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or a related discipline
  • An MBA or relevant master’s degree in any related discipline would be advantageous

Professional Qualification:

  • Professional membership in a relevant industry association is required
  • Minimum 7 -12 years post-graduation experience (8 of which must be in the oil and gassector, 3 years experience at the Management Level)
