Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate with 5-7 years of experience in a reputable accounting firm to join our client’s growing team in Lagos.
  • This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong foundation in accounting, audit, tax, and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute audit and accounting engagements for a portfolio of clients across various industries.
  • Provide advisory services, including tax planning and compliance, financial reporting, and risk management.
  • Review financial statements, and audit reports, and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff, providing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure their needs are met with high professional standards.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices in accounting and tax.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA are required.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience working in a top-tier accounting firm.
  • Extensive experience in audit, tax, and advisory services.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, IFRS, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
