Demyhealth Clinic and Genomic Medicine (DCGM) is the pioneering Genomic medicine services in Nigeria in partnership with a UK based ISO certified bioscience laboratory in delivering over 5000 tests in Nigeria, including test not currently offered by any lab in Nigeria. We specialize in Invitro-diagnostics, in addition we also service Life science industries such as Pharmaceutical, Veterinary, food & beverage industries via our subsidiary company GTL.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities and trends to expand the laboratory's and other business services.
  • Analyze data to inform strategic decisions and business development initiatives.
  • Work with the product/service development team to identify new service offerings and improvements to existing services.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the laboratory and other businesses.
  • Provide market feedback to inform product development and innovation.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and sales performance.

Qualification / Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the healthcare or medical laboratory industry.
  • Strong understanding of market research, sales strategies, and business development processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
