We are recruiting qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Report to: Head, Business Development Executive

Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate will work with the Head of Business Development to grow and drive the wealth management business of the Company.
  • Candidate should possess experience in business development and relationship management skills targeting high net worth and institutional clients.

Responsibilities

  • Engage prospective clients with a view to identifying and understanding their needs and objectives and working with the investment team to provide recommendations suited to each client.
  • Provide high-quality client engagement through scheduled client meetings and regular client interactions.
  • Act as liaison between the firm and clients; representing firm to clients and clients to firm.
  • Participate in internal investment review of clients’ investment portfolios.
  • Work with the Investment Operations team, to ensure timely delivery of periodic portfolio reports and statements to clients.
  • Regularly provide feedback to the Investment team from interactions with potential & existing clients.
  • Achieve asset and revenue targets.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in relationship management and sales experience within wealth management, private banking, trust, family office or financial planning industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand clients’ financial situations.
  • Good knowledge of financial markets
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Track record that demonstrates exceptional ability to grow revenue, assets, and client base.
  • High achiever with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Able to operate successfully in a team environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
