We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Datacom Maintenance Engineer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and maintenance of the customer 's data communications network (including routers, switches, firewalls, etc.), ensuring the stable operation of the network system.
• Respond promptly to and resolve various issues arising from network equipment, including but not limited to network interruptions, equipment failures, configuration errors, etc., minimizing business impact time.
• Participate in the planning and design of network architectures, proposing network optimization schemes based on business requirements to enhance network performance and reliability.
• Contribute to network construction projects, involving the installation, configuration, debugging, and acceptance of network equipment, ensuring projects are completed on time and with quality.
• Conduct regular security audits of the network system to ensure compliance with industry security standards and company security policies, promptly identifying and addressing potential security vulnerabilities.
• Participate in internal technical training to continuously upgrade personal skills; share experiences with team members to promote the overall skill level of the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Communications, Electronics, or related fields.
• Proficient in TCP/IP protocols and familiar with the OSI seven-layer model and the working principles of each layer.
• Skilled in configuring and managing mainstream network equipment (such as Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, etc.).
• Possess excellent network troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, able to quickly locate the root cause of issues.
• Knowledgeable in network security, with experience in network security protection preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in data communications network maintenance or related fields, with experience in large-scale network projects being advantageous.
• Possess good communication skills and a strong teamwork spirit, able to collaborate effectively with different departments.
• Relevant network certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Huawei HCNA/HCNP) is preferred.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, able to work under pressure, and adapt to occasional overtime requirements.
