Job Title: Senior Associate, HSS and QI

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the tracking and implementation of programmatic work plans across States and thematic areas
  • Facilitate the development and approval of state and health facilities’ operational budgets
  • Monitor the implementation of programmatic scope of work by all project sub-recipients
  • Develop timely work plans and budgets for activities to support health facility teams utilize quality improvement methodologies to improve HIV care
  • Efficiently coordinate the implementation of QI and QA activities across supported health facilities
  • Manage quality improvement collaboratives among sites to improve care for people with HIV, including conducting peer learning sessions and site coaching.
  • Regular report writing including progress reports, QI bulletins and success stories
  • Support site and LGA quality improvement teams conduct monthly data collection, analysis, use and reporting
  • Develop and update materials for trainings, learning sessions and coaching visits
  • Coordinate assessments, site strengthening, follow-up and supervision, including developing supportive supervision guidelines.

Qualification and Experience

  • Degree in Public Health or a related field
  • At least 4 years post qualification and minimum of two (2) years’ HIV/TB clinical experience
  • Public health experience and familiarity with quality improvement methodologies is essential
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel and spend at least 25% of their time in the field.
