Job Title: Lubricant Area Sales Manager

Job Summary

  • The Area Sales Manager (ASM) in the lubricant industry oversees sales operations, meets targets, and manages the sales team within a designated geographical area.
  • The ASM ensures effective execution of sales strategies, builds and maintains strong customer relationships, and drives revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve targets and expand the customer base.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Sales Manager to set sales goals and objectives.
  • Conduct regular visits to customers and prospects to promote products and services.
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to ensure steady progression toward sales targets.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in sales operations.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned area.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with market needs.
  • Manage the sales budget for the assigned area, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Track and control expenses to stay within budgetary limits.
  • Propose and implement cost-effective sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the lubricant industry or a related field, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Frequent travel within the designated area.
