Job Title: Barman (Bartender) / Waiter

Job Summary

• Responsible for preparing and serving drinks, managing the bar area, and providing excellent customer service and Responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities

• Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and other drinks.
• Order Management: Take orders, manage cash and credit transactions, and maintain accuracy.
• Customer Service: Engage with customers, respond to queries, and ensure a positive experience.
• Bar Maintenance: Clean and maintain the bar area, glasses, and equipment.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and minimize waste.
• Cash Handling: Manage cash, operate a point-of-sale system, and handle customer payments.
• Team Collaboration: Assist colleagues, provide support, and maintain a positive team environment.
• Order Taking: Take accurate orders, manage food allergies and preferences.
• Food Service: Serve food and beverages efficiently and politely.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with customers, address concerns, and provide recommendations.
• Table Management: Manage table assignments, settings, and cleanliness.
• Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Cash Handling: Manage cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Team Collaboration: Assist colleagues, support other sections, and maintain a positive team environment.

Skills and Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an NCE, OND or HND in a relevant field with 3 - 5 years work experience.
• Basic mixology knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods
• Knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
• Certification in bartending and food service hospitality (optional

Salary
N50,000 - N60,000 monthly.
