Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa was established by the Ondo State Government in 2008. The University was initially named as Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa. The Ondo State Government changed the name of the University to Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) in December, 2019. The University is a technology-based institution which aims at providing the needed manpower training in order to address the critical areas of industrial and technological development of Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates applying for this position must possess Ph.D degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Public health from reputable Universities or comparable institutions of higher learning and a good First Degree in an appropriate allied health sciences discipline and any other professional health field (e.g. Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Physiotherapy, public health and other medical rehabilitation specialties, Radiography).
• Candidates must have a minimum of 9 years post-qualification experience in teaching, research and community service.
• Candidates must also possess scholarly publications in high-impact journals, both locally and internationally, have experience in grantsmanship, demonstrate ability to initiate and direct new research efforts, provides mentorship to junior academics, considerable administrative experience and postgraduate supervision.
