Admission and Sales Officer at West Africa Vocational Education (WAVE)

WAVE is solving what is arguably the biggest challenge on the continent: youth unemployment. In West Africa, 40-85% of youth, more than 50 million, are either unemployed or underemployed. Meanwhile, job creation in the region is on the rise. The disconnect between work-ready youth and the employment market must be bridged.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Admission and Sales Officer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative strategies to attract new students, leveraging modern trends like social media campaigns.
• Drive enrollment plan, initiatives and activities
• Visit prospective parents and offices to introduce the school
• Regular social media posting and engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with feeder schools and relevant parent groups
• Provide guidance and assistance to parents throughout the admissions process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• A passion for sales and marketing, especially in the education sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the role.
• Knowledge of the local education market is an advantage, but not required.
