Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Staff member to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our company acquires quality products and services at competitive prices.
  • The Procurement Staff member will handle day-to-day procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, purchase order processing, and inventory management, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet the company's procurement requirements, ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of inventory to avoid stockouts and overstocking.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier communications.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
  • Cost Analysis: Perform cost analysis and support budgeting activities to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Education: HND / Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Ability to analyze data and perform cost analysis.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and logistics is an advantage.
