WAVE is solving what is arguably the biggest challenge on the continent: youth unemployment. In West Africa, 40-85% of youth, more than 50 million, are either unemployed or underemployed. Meanwhile, job creation in the region is on the rise. The disconnect between work-ready youth and the employment market must be bridged.

Job Title: Energy Bar Assistant

Job Summary

• We are seeking an enthusiastic Energy Bar Assistant to deliver an exceptional smoothie experience for our guests
• The ideal candidate will be smart, hospitable, and capable of maintaining the bar, assisting customers, and exceeding their expectations. A passion for fitness is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide superb customer service.
• Maintain the energy bar station, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
• Prepare and serve protein shakes, smoothies, and energy shots by slicing, cutting, and mixing ingredients.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Take inventory, restock supplies, and ensure the bar is well-stocked.
• Process client orders efficiently using the POS system (e.g., Loyverse).
• Support Front Desk operations by driving sales and enhancing client retention.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth class check-in and overall efficiency.
• Analyze customer patterns and relay data to the marketing department.
• Investigate and escalate client complaints.
• Organize the bar for inventory and preparation efficiency, minimizing waste.
• Maintain product knowledge and advise customers on their choices.
• Uphold the distinct BEYOND aesthetic, atmosphere, and culture.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role in hospitality or fitness.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and morning/night shifts.
• Knowledge of data analysis and familiarity with Google Suite/Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and customer service focus.
• Passion for fitness and interest in health and wellness.
• Must be able to stand, bend, reach, lift, push, and pull up to 50 kg for extended periods.
• Should live around the Island axis for easy commuting. For example, Lekki phase 1, VI, Lagos Island, Obalende.
