Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Floor Sales Representative to join our client team.
  • As a Floor Sales Rep, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, content creating, guiding customers through their purchasing decisions, and ensuring that our household items are presented in an attractive and organized manner.
  • Your goal is to meet or exceed sales targets while enhancing the customer shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding household items that meet their needs. Answer questions and provide product information in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Sales:Actively engage with customers to understand their preferences and needs, suggest appropriate products, and close sales. Upsell and cross-sell related products to increase sales volume.
  • Product Knowledge:Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the household items in your department. Stay informed about new products, promotions, and industry trends.
  • Merchandising: Ensure that household items are displayed neatly and attractively. Restock shelves as needed, maintain proper signage, and ensure that pricing is accurate.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by keeping track of stock levels, reporting low stock items, and participating in regular stock counts.
  • Customer Feedback:Collect and relay customer feedback to management to improve product offerings and customer service.
  • Team Collaboration:Work closely with other team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for customers.
  • Store Maintenance:Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and safe for customers. Report any maintenance or safety issues to management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail sales experience, preferably in household items or a related field, is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
  • Ability to lift and move items of varying sizes.

Salary
N70,000 monthly, + bonus.
