About the Role

• As a Commodity Trading Specialist, you will execute trades with commodity traders on the metal exchange platform, manage risks, ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations, and utilize advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting.
• Your role is crucial in maintaining high levels of attention to detail and accuracy in all transactions, adapting to a fast-paced trading environment, and effectively communicating with team members and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Trade Execution:

• Execute trades with commodity traders on the metal exchange platform.
• Analyze market trends and make quick, informed decisions to optimize trade execution.

Risk Management:

• Manage and mitigate risks associated with commodity trading.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulations, and reporting requirements.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Utilize advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting.
• Maintain high levels of attention to detail and accuracy in all transactions.

Communication:

• Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
• Adapt and thrive in a fast-paced trading environment.

What We Are Looking For

• 2 - 4 years of work experience.
• Knowledge of Financial markets
• Strong working knowledge of accounting and finance functions.
• Proficiency in risk management, internal control, and regulatory compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions.
• Strong communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Training and Development:

• The successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive training program to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the role.
• This training will cover all aspects of commodity trading and trade execution on the metal exchange platform.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
