Job Title: Finance and Account Officer

Location: Awoyaya / Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting line: Finance / Account Manager

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a skilled Finance and Accounts Officer responsible for managing the company’s financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, providing financial reports, and analysis.
  • Ensuring that the company’s finances are managed effectively and supporting operational and financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Manage payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and other accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and accounting standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage financial transactions to optimize working capital.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degrees in Accounting, and Finance
  • 1 - 3 years relevant work experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Excel )
  • Basic knowledge of product costing.
  • Sound inventory management. o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting in a manufacturing company.
  • Strong calculations skills and in-depth proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple financial tasks with attention to detail. o Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners.
  • Personal Attributes: Integrity, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Salary
N120,000 Monthly.
