Job Title: Farm Attendant - Poultry / Feedmill

Location: Asipa, Ogun

Reports to: Farm Supervisor

Job Summary

• We seek a reliable and diligent Farm Attendant to assist in the daily operations of our poultry farm.
• The successful candidate will ensure the health, welfare, and productivity of our poultry stock while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
Animal Care:

• Provide food, water, and vaccinations to poultry as instructed.
• Monitor poultry health and report any signs of illness or stress.
• Maintain accurate records of poultry health, feed consumption, and mortality.

Farm Maintenance:

• Clean and disinfect coops, feeding/watering equipment, and surrounding areas.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks (e.g., repairing fences, checking ventilation).
• Ensure biosecurity protocols are strictly adhered to.

Egg Collection and Handling (if applicable):

• Collect eggs from nesting boxes.
• Clean, grade, and package eggs for distribution.

Compliance and Safety:

• Obey all rules, regulations, and instructions from Farm Supervisors.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Report accidents/incidents promptly.

Other Tasks:

• Assist with farm projects and activities as assigned.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve farm goals.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND qualification
• 1 - 2 years relevant work experience in poultry farming or animal husbandry.
• Basic understanding of poultry health, nutrition, and behavior.
• Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced farm environment.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Remuneration

• Salary: N40,000 - N50,000 Monthly.
• Accommodation available.
