Job Title: Head of Exploration

Job Description

• As the Head of Exploration, you will lead and manage our exploration team in identifying and assessing mineral deposits.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement exploration strategies to achieve company objectives.
• Identify and prioritize exploration targets.
• Lead and manage a team of exploration professionals.
• Mentor and develop junior staff members.
• Plan and execute exploration programs, including fieldwork, drilling, and sampling.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Analyze geological data to determine commercial viability.
• Interpret exploration results and recommend next steps.
• Collaborate with external partners, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Communicate exploration results and progress to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements
Education:

• Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Geology, Geological Engineering, or related fields (e.g., Earth Sciences, Mining Engineering)

Key Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in mineral exploration and project management
• Proven track record of successfully leading exploration teams and discovering mineral deposits
• Expertise in exploration methodologies, geospatial technologies, and geological modeling

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of geological principles, mineralization processes, and exploration techniques
• Proficiency in geospatial technologies (GIS, remote sensing, geophysics)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work in remote locations and manage field operations.
