Job Title: Production Supervisor (Bakery)

Location: Jos, Plateau

Job Summary

• As a Production Supervisor in our bakery, you will oversee the daily operations of the production floor to ensure the highest quality of baked goods.
• Your role will involve managing a team of bakers and production staff, coordinating production schedules, and maintaining equipment and inventory.
• You will ensure that all products meet our quality standards and that the bakery operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire bakery production process to ensure quality and productivity.
• Enforce safety and sanitation standards within the bakery.
• Coordinate daily production schedules and tasks.
• Train and supervise bakery staff, assigning roles and tasks.
• Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and order bakery supplies as needed.
• Ensure consistency and quality in all bakery items produced.
• Investigate and resolve any issues regarding quality or production delays.
• Implement and monitor production strategies and goals.
• Conduct performance evaluations of bakery staff and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

• Certification in Food Science, Baking and Pastry.
•  Minimum 2 years Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a bakery.
• Strong understanding of bakery operations and quality control.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
