Job Title: Production Supervisor (Bakery)
Location: Jos, Plateau
Job Summary
- As a Production Supervisor in our bakery, you will oversee the daily operations of the production floor to ensure the highest quality of baked goods.
- Your role will involve managing a team of bakers and production staff, coordinating production schedules, and maintaining equipment and inventory.
- You will ensure that all products meet our quality standards and that the bakery operates efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire bakery production process to ensure quality and productivity.
- Enforce safety and sanitation standards within the bakery.
- Coordinate daily production schedules and tasks.
- Train and supervise bakery staff, assigning roles and tasks.
- Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and order bakery supplies as needed.
- Ensure consistency and quality in all bakery items produced.
- Investigate and resolve any issues regarding quality or production delays.
- Implement and monitor production strategies and goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations of bakery staff and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements
- Certification in Food Science, Baking and Pastry.
- Minimum 2 years Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a bakery.
- Strong understanding of bakery operations and quality control.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
