Job Title: Procurement Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: General Manager, Finance/Admin

Job Summary

• We seek an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee our client's group's equipment, materials, and services procurement, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement plans and strategies to meet operational needs
• Source and qualify local and international suppliers, particularly those with oil and gas industry expertise
• Negotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian regulations and company policies
• Manage inventory levels and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Analyze market trends to secure the best prices and terms
• Maintain accurate procurement records
• Develop and implement vendor performance evaluation criteria

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in Nigeria's oil and gas industry
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Familiarity with Nigerian procurement regulations and market dynamics
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
