Job Title: Experienced Accountant

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• We seek a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Office Accountant to manage financial activities, ensure accurate reporting, and provide strategic insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage financial plans, budgets, and budgetary control reports
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Nigerian financial regulations and international standards
• Prepare monthly income statements, quarterly management accounts, and annual financial statements
• Manage cash flow, investments, and capital expenditures
• Maintain asset registers for the corporate office
• Conduct financial analysis and risk assessment
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
• Provide guidance and support to junior finance staff
• Ensure consistent financial practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; ACA, ACCA, or CFA certification required
• 5+ years of experience in finance, preferably in the oil and gas industry
• In-depth knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, financial regulations, and corporate finance
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.

Remuneration

• Salary: N400,000 - 600,000 Monthly.
