We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Turner

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Structural Mill

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC and manual turning machines to produce precision parts.
  • Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to ensure accurate turning.
  • Choose optimal cutting tools, materials, and techniques for efficient production.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure precise dimensions and finishes.
  • Troubleshoot turning issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Mentor and train junior turners and machinists.

Education and Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in machining or a related field

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience operating CNC and manual turning machines.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and techniques.
  •  Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing or machining shop environment.
  • Exposure to loud noises, dust, and metal debris.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
