Job Title: Furniture Welder / Fabricator

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Machining fabrication materials and components.
• Fitting, setting, and installing fabricated structures.
• Cutting and welding with a variety of processes.
• Metal forming, bending, and finishing.
• Repair, design, and layout projects.
• Read and understand blueprints prior to starting the position.
• Ability to check your own work against a print and work order.
• Weld materials using correct materials and processes to join them in a structurally sound way.
• Set up your work cell by locating parts, gathering materials using work orders.
• Make repairs using power tools and the knowledge gained by experience to ensure that all products meet Hi5’s high standards.
• Maintain hand tools, equipment, inventory, and any necessary supplies.
• Package steel components from powder coat line and hardware to couple with table tops.
• Maintain clean organized work cell.
• Will be required to perform other tasks as requested, assigned, or directed.
• Weekends, and overtime as required based on business needs.

Requirements

• Knowledge of various welding techniques.
• To be thorough and pay attention to detail.
• The ability to work well with others.
• Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Trade test Certificate.
