We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fleet Officer - Set up and Activation

Location: Lokoja, Kogi
Job Type: Full Time

Description

  • Documentation: Maintain record of all new vehicles delivered into the premises
  • Maintain documentation detailing all setup related processes from delivery to activation

Vehicle Setup:

  • Responsible for the timely setup of vehicles
  • Responsible for all processes from the initial delivery of vehicles until the vehicle is activated
  • Liaise with required 3rd party contractors to handle painting, branding and other required processes to ensure vehicles are setup in a timely manner
  • Liaise with Documentation team to ensure that Vehicle plate numbers, insurance and other documentation are delivered appropriately to ensure timely activation
  • Responsible for following up the setup process until the vehicle is activated
  • Upload the accurate vehicle details into VAMS as soon as the vehicles are delivered into the facility and subsequently until vehicle is ready for activation
  • Sort and arrange for vehicles that are designated for other locations and follow up delivery until the vehicles are delivered correctly.

Administrative Function:

  • Manage and maintain a record of all vehicle VINs upon delivery

Requirements
Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of OND in any Engineering discipline. Mechanical Engineering is preferred
  • 2 Years cognate experience as a vehicle technician or 2 years experience in fleet management.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Good understanding of Inventory Control principles and practices
  • Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace
  • Good understanding of fleet management
  • Critical and Analytical thinking
  • Accuracy and Attention to detail
  • Confidentiality and Thoroughness
