Job Title: Fleet Officer (Maintenance)

Description

  • We are looking to hire an experienced Fleet Officer who will be responsible for the routine maintenance of all MAX assets
  • You will be a strategic thinker with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. You will have strong designing experience, an analytical mind and outstanding presentation skills.
  • You will be highly analytical, a self-starter, results-oriented and able to thrive in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
What you will do:

  • Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
  • Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
  • Document Assessment records for all vehicles brought into the MAX workshops for maintenance.
  • Work with the vehicle maintenance manager to improve on checklists and maintenance routines
  • Supervise the technicians and ensure they carry out their job functions satisfactorily
  • Create and fill out job cards for any vehicle that is brought for preventive maintenance to any location

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND in any Engineering discipline. Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • 2 Years cognate experience as a vehicle technician or 2 years experience in fleet management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Excellent understanding of Inventory Control principles and practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace.
  • Good understanding of fleet management.
  • Critical and Analytical thinking.
  • Accuracy and Attention to detail.
  • Confidentiality and Thoroughness
