Job Title: Sales Executive (Conferences & Events)

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The primary focus of this position will be to market and sell sponsorships and delegations for the Conferences and Events.
  • This role requires you to manage existing clients, bring in new businesses as well as increase revenues through the sale of conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Market and sell sponsorships of all the conferences to potential clients.
  • Interact frequently with clients and guests to learn about their needs and develop relationships to earn repeat and expand business
  • Contribute to the selling strategy of the conferences, and ensure adherence to achieving that strategy.
  • Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to ensure that the conferences stay ahead in the market
  • Responsible for planning and managing programs so that they are fully integrated across marketing vehicles.
  • Working cross-functionally, assisting with the execution of the conference's goals, messages, audience generation/email campaigns, speaker plan, event website and registration, and event logistics.
  • Provide the conference manager with a clear marketing plan for each event.
  • Liaise with the Conferences Manager to identify and arrange cross-promotion opportunities at events. This should be done for every event at least weeks before the conference date.

Requirements

  • BSC/HND in social science or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years Sales experience in corporate events and Conference.
