We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Junior IT Support Officer

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary

  • The Junior IT Support Officer provides first-line technical support to employees and helps maintain the organization’s I.T. infrastructure.
  • The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, responding to user queries, and assisting with the installation and maintenance of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support for I.T. issues related to hardware, software, and networks as well as ensure minimal downtime
  • Respond to user queries via phone, email, or in person in a timely and professional manner
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with computers, printers, and other peripherals
  • Escalate more complex issues to the I.T. Manager as needed
  • Carry out routine computer system backup and system diagnostic checks twice every week
  • Ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest patches and security updates
  • Educate staff on the company's I.T Policy and report non-compliance to the I.T Manager
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory
  • Provide regular reports to I.T. Manager on support activities and any recurring issues.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree / HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline with requisite exposure and experience in ICT environment.
  • Relevant certification (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, CCNA) would be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in similar role
  • Good communication, technical, analytical, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other computer applications.

Remuneration
N130,000 - N150,000 Monthly Gross.
