Job Title: Recycling Officer

Responsibilities
- Creating and delivering educational programmes.
- Organising community and media liaison initiatives.
- Comparing cost and performance of current schemes with new 'best practice' schemes to maximize resources and reduce costs.
- Collecting data, compiling statistics and drafting reports.
- Advising and assisting local community groups.
- Managing and promoting initiatives through advertising and publicity campaigns.
- Complying with current recycling legislation and environmental policy.
- Advising local businesses on waste disposal and recycling initiatives.
- Recruiting and training volunteers in community organizations.
Requirements
- B.Sc or HND in Life, Physical or Social Science.
- Good interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention for details and ability to prioritize.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite
- Excellent team-working skills. Attention to detail, even when working to tight deadlines.
- Can quickly learn new industry and company processes.
- Friendly and approachable.
- Honest and trustworthy.
Remuneration
135, 000 -150, 000.
